Specialist Flue Service was originally established in 1973, being the first independent prefabricated flue and chimney specialists in the UK. Our clients now have over 150 years of industry experience at their disposal, and an enormous database of commercial and industrial chimney expertise to call upon.

Our continuing independence from any chimney manufacturer enables our clients to enjoy our completely unbiased advice regarding the suitability of any chimney system for a given application. Experienced technical staff are on hand to provide you with sound advice, and to offer competitive quotations for varying products.

Our clients have access to a diverse range of products from domestic gas vents to industrial chimneys, including fire rated systems, pressure and moisture resistant systems, flue dilution and fan assisted systems, masted structures and free standing chimneys. In addition to installing new chimney systems, Specialist Flue Service has gained an enviable reputation for solving chimney problems - often where others have been unable to do so. Our clients can call upon us to affect surveys and condition reports of existing chimney systems, such as CCTV and ultrasonic testing on freestanding chimneys, on a one off or an annual basis, to comply with Health & Safety Guidance Note GS53.

Our clients make good use of our 2D and 3D computer aided drawing facilities and computerised flue performance calculation programmes, which demonstrate that technology is at the forefront of our strive to be recognised as the best independent provider to the UK construction industry involving the design, supply and installation of flue and chimney systems.

Doubtless health and safety is very important to you, as it is to us at Specialist Flue Service. At your disposal is our computerised system for method statements and risk assessments for projects being executed within the CDM regulations. Upon request the CSCS "Skill Cards" of our contract managers, surveyors and site operatives are available electronically, or in hard copy, as are the Powered Access Licences that our site supervisors hold.
